I’d list that quote a little better, but I don’t have better information to go on. And it really is a cute skit.

I’m not really a Desi, but it can be fun to pretend. I’m a Spanish brat on my father’s side. My kids are Spots because my husband is Scottish on his father’s side. Heritage gets too complicated after a while. Perhaps we should just stick with calling our family Americans.

Desi is wearing a hoodie because she’s suffering from the black dog problem. Visitors to the SF/SPCA often don’t notice the black colored dogs because they’re hard to see through the window, especially if they’re sitting in the shadows.

The staff people at the shelter decided to dress her up in this hoodie to see if that helps get her more attention.

She’s *really* sweet.
